Following unforeseen challenges within the DesignQ team, I was entrusted with the critical task of finalising the surfacing for the GT's iconic ‘Crystal Cut’ headlights. With tight supplier lead times, I had to take over an unfinished model, refine its complex surfaces, and bring it to Bentley’s exacting Strak tolerances. This required a rapid turnaround, extended working hours, and close collaboration with Bentley’s lead designer, David Learey, to ensure the model got out the door in time.
Fortunately for me this effort was noticed within the Bentley Modelling leadership and I was offered a contract at Bentley's Coventry satellite studio soon after.
